The Aerosol Alliance is a group of graffiti artists, environmental specialists, organizers and curators that have a passion for the use of spray cans. At the same time we are worried about the negative impact that the use of a spray can has on our environment and on our health. Our goal is to reduce this impact and create awareness in the spray paint industry.
We want to create awareness in the spray paint industry and share knowledge via our platform. Impact is made in numbers and we believe change is needed. Have a look on our website and if you also believe that change is needed, you can join The Aerosol Alliance by signing the Manifesto. Once you have done this you are considered as an ally. An individual that supports our goal.

01. RAISE AWARENESS
The first thing we want to do is raise awareness. Make people aware of the problem and make them realize what is going on. Also we want to make visible how many people in our scene are worried about this subject. Raising and spreading awareness is the most important part of it all.
02. SHARE IDEAS
We want to create a platform where everybody can share their ideas, thoughts, feelings and tips. This will lead to more oppertunities, solutions and people dicussing these urgent issues.
03. SPREAD INFORMATION
We believe that for artists to make better decisions it is important to have the right information. We want to make all information about spray cans accessible for artist worldwide. So everybody knows exactly what the impact on the environment and health is. For instance, the carbon footprint of a spray can.
04. MORE SUSTAINABILITY
We want to start a conversation with the spray can manufacturers on how to make our scene a more sustainable one. For this conversation we want to use the input on our platform. The number of people who have signed our manifesto will prove the urgency of this matter.
We have just started this project and don’t know yet how it will develop. So far lots of people with the same mindset have crossed our path and with their help we are shaping this project and movement. We believe that there is a lot of potential to turn this into a worldwide movement that can drastically change the way the spray can industry works.
Do you want to join our team to create a positive impact in the graffiti scene? We are happy to discuss the options to collaborate. Feel free to contact Luc Hillege via luc@aerosolalliance.com
